- Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess the nature and extent of brain and spinal injuries.
- Provide clear and concise legal advice regarding potential claims and compensation.
- Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of brain and spinal injury cases, ensuring all aspects are handled efficiently.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and develop case strategies.
- Investigation:
- Gather and analyse evidence related to the injury, including medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
- Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to build a strong case.
- Negotiation and Settlement:
- Engage in negotiations with opposing parties and insurance companies to reach fair settlements.
- Draft settlement agreements and ensure clients’ interests are protected.
- Litigation:
- Prepare and file legal documents for court proceedings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Client Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing any concerns.
- Educate clients on legal processes and potential outcomes.
- Legal Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm and external experts to strengthen cases.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
- NQ – 1PQE
- Ideally come from a catastrophic Injury background.
