As part of our clients continued growth, Themis Recruit are looking to speak with an experienced Solicitor specialising in Road Traffic Accident (RTA) and/or Credit Hire litigation who may be interested in joining our clients growing team.

The Role
This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied and interesting caseload while building long-term client relationships. You will act as a trusted adviser, delivering commercially focused legal advice and representing clients confidently throughout the lifecycle of a claim.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of litigated and pre-litigated RTA and Credit Hire matters

  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and other court documentation

  • Negotiating settlements and liaising with clients, insurers and counsel

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedural rules

  • Providing clear, accurate and commercially sound legal advice at all stages

  • Representing clients robustly in legal proceedings

  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 2 years’ PQE

  • Solid experience in RTA and Credit Hire litigation

  • Confident handling Small, Fast, Intermediate and Multi-Track matters

  • Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills

  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong client-relationship and communication skills

  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail

  • Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach

  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines

  • IT-literate, with experience of case management systems (or willingness to learn)

  • Professional, confident and personable, including at networking events
