A well-regarded and expanding law firm is looking to recruit a Housing Management & Property Litigation Lawyer to join its established specialist team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor or legal executive looking to develop their career within a highly active and continuously evolving area of law. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters, working within a collaborative and well-respected housing litigation practice.

The Opportunity

You will join a specialist Housing Management & Property Litigation team that advises a broad client base including registered providers, local authorities, and private landlords across England and Wales.

The role offers a varied caseload covering both contentious housing litigation and advisory work, providing strong technical development and exposure to complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a mixed caseload of housing management and property litigation matters
  • Handling matters including injunctions, possession proceedings, and housing disrepair claims
  • Providing policy and procedural advice to landlord clients
  • Supporting partners on complex and high-value cases
  • Building strong relationships with clients and managing expectations effectively
  • Supervising and supporting junior lawyers and paralegals
  • Managing competing deadlines across multiple files
  • Delivering training and guidance to clients on housing law matters
  • Contributing to business development and client relationship activities

About You

The firm is keen to hear from candidates who:

  • Have 2+ years’ PQE in housing management and property litigation
  • Are confident running their own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Demonstrate strong technical ability and case management skills
  • Have experience supervising junior team members
  • Possess strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Are commercially aware and proactive in their approach
  • Are highly organised with strong attention to detail

CILEx Lawyers will be considered and should hold Civil Litigation Practice Rights.
