Solicitor – Commercial Litigation

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our clients growing and high-performing Commercial Litigation Department. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes, working within a supportive and collaborative environment where your development and career progression are actively encouraged.

About You

You will be an experienced Solicitor (3+ years PQE) with a proven background in commercial litigation. You will have:

• The ability to manage your own caseload efficiently.

About the Team

Our Commercial Litigation Department provides advice and representation on a wide range of disputes, including:

• Contentious probate

• Debt recovery and contract claims

• Landlord and tenant disputes

• Property and civil litigation matters

Our client operates a partner-led approach on all matters, ensuring high-quality service delivery and fostering the development of junior team members through a flexible team structure. Collaboration with other specialist departments is encouraged, creating an open and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team, you will be responsible for:

• Advising clients on a range of commercial litigation matters.

• Interviewing clients and taking detailed instructions.

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents.

• Keeping clients informed on progress and ensuring exceptional client care.

• Managing files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with departmental procedures.

• Handling client queries promptly and efficiently, both in person and by phone.

• Supporting the growth of the department through active participation in business development initiatives.
