Our client don’t just handle claims — they change lives. Due to continued success, Themis Recruit are looking for a talented Solicitor to join their growing Serious Injury team, supporting on complex, high-value claimant cases and helping seriously injured clients secure the future they deserve.

The Role

You’ll work closely with a Lead Fee Earner, supporting a portfolio of serious injury claims, while also managing your own caseload. The work is predominantly RTA-based, often involving complex liability, causation and quantum issues, with claims regularly exceeding £250,000.

This is a hands-on, varied role offering real autonomy, client contact, and collaboration with a wide-ranging team of leading experts.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting and progressing a caseload of high-value serious injury claims

  • Managing your own smaller caseload within the Serious Injury team

  • Playing an active role in shaping case strategy alongside the Lead Fee Earner

  • Drafting key legal documents including statements, pleadings and schedules of loss

  • Analysing evidence and researching liability, causation and quantum issues

  • Instructing and liaising with a multi-disciplinary expert team (medical experts, case managers, care experts, architects, forensic accountants and counsel)

  • Securing early interim payments, rehabilitation and optimal settlements for clients

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

  • Preparing for and attending client meetings, conferences and settlement discussions

  • Maintaining accurate records on the case management system

  • Supporting business development initiatives and raising your professional profile through links with APIL, Headway and SIA

  • Mentoring junior team members as appropriate

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX

  • Experience working on serious injury or high-value personal injury claims

  • Confidence working with multi-disciplinary experts

  • Outstanding client care and communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

  • Proficient with case management systems and Microsoft Word/Excel

Desirable

  • A proactive, positive and self-motivated mindset

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring others

  • Interest in building a professional profile within the PI sector

  • Resilience and adaptability when handling complex or sensitive matters

  • A genuine passion for developing a long-term career in serious injury law

Travel

While the role is fully remote, occasional travel may be required for client meetings, expert conferences or counsel meetings across England and Wales.
