The Role
Due to continued success, Themis Recruit are seeking a senior Family Children Law Solicitor with panel accreditation and strong supervisory experience to join our clients Central London office. This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of public law care practice while shaping the development of one of the UK’s most respected family law teams. Reporting to the Head of the Family Department, you will handle high-profile, complex cases, supervise junior solicitors, and play a central role in strategic development, business growth, and client relationships.

Key Requirements

  • Panel-accredited Family Children Law Solicitor (or actively working towards accreditation).

  • Extensive post-qualification experience in childcare and public law children matters, with proven success in care proceedings.

  • Strong advocacy, case management, and leadership skills, capable of managing a senior caseload independently and mentoring junior team members.

  • Experience in or strong interest in child abduction, international, and modern family law matters highly desirable.

  • Confident in case preparation, strategy, and courtroom advocacy.

  • Proven ability to develop business and maintain high-level professional networks.

  • Knowledge of Legal Aid regulations and procedures.

  • Excellent client care, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.

  • Commitment to team development, professional excellence, and long-term contribution to the firm.
