Themis Recruit are currently working with a well-established and highly respected London firm that is looking to strengthen its Employment team with the addition of a Senior Associate (6–9 years PQE).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-quality practice advising both senior executives and corporate clients on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, within a collaborative team that sits closely alongside the firm’s corporate and private client practices.

The Opportunity

The role will involve working on a varied caseload including:

  • Advising on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Drafting executive service agreements, policies and senior exit arrangements
  • Advising on reorganisations, redundancies and HR strategy
  • Supporting on corporate transactions, M&A and due diligence
  • Acting as a lead adviser on matters, bridging the gap between associate and partner level
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team

Candidate Profile

The team is keen to speak with lawyers who:

  • Have 6–9 years’ PQE specialising in employment law
  • Possess experience across both contentious and advisory work
  • Ideally have experience acting for both employers and senior executives
  • Are confident managing matters with a good degree of autonomy
  • Have experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
  • Are commercially aware and interested in developing client relationships

A small client following would be advantageous but is not essential.
