Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified solicitor(approximately 5-8 years PQE) with a demonstrated background in commercial dispute resolution. The successful candidate will manage an existing caseload, provide support to senior fee earners, trainees, and other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison with and attendance on clients
- Analysis of cases and provision of advice
- Timely acknowledgement and progression of client calls and queries
- Engage with other parties, ensuring precise communication
- Escalate queries when necessary
- Produce case documentation, summaries, and evidence
- Manage own cases in compliance with procedural requirements
- Draft documents for clients under supervision
- Complete tasks allocated by senior fee earners on larger matters
- Liaise with administration team members for comprehensive task completion
- Attend court/tribunal proceedings
- Collaborate with Counsel and experts
- Flexible assistance to team members and the organization
- Develop client relationships within the team and refer work internally
- Meet individual targets and contribute to team target achievement
- Provide approachable advice and assistance to other staff
- Share ideas within the team
- Recognise and utilize different skill sets within the team for cost-effective service
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor
- Commercial dispute resolution expertise
- Alternative Dispute Resolution knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven effective case management
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Client-focused with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Commercially aware
