Themis Recruit are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Childcare Solicitor to join our clients well-established and growing Public Law Care team in West Yorkshire.
This is a standout opportunity for a panel-accredited solicitor (or those working towards accreditation) to take a leading role within a highly regarded team that is rapidly building a reputation as one of the strongest Childcare practices in the region.
The Role
You will manage a complex caseload of Public Law Children matters, acting for parents, guardians and other parties in care proceedings. This is a senior position offering genuine autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to influence the direction of the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Children Panel Accreditation (essential or strongly preferred)
- Proven experience handling the full spectrum of complex Public Law Care work
- Strong advocacy skills and confidence managing cases through to final hearing
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent client care skills, particularly with vulnerable clients
- A strategic, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Interest in mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth
