Our client are seeking a qualified individual to join their esteemed team as a Senior Associate/Salaried Partner, specialising in Commercial Litigation, based in Manchester. Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate or Salaried Partner in our clients Commercial Litigation team, you will be involved in a diverse range of dispute resolution matters. This includes handling claims such as contract disputes, director and shareholder disputes, breach of covenant and warranty claims, professional negligence, banking, defamation, fraud, procurement, and partnership issues for a varied clientele from the UK and overseas.
Your role involves independent management of cases and overseeing junior colleagues. Beyond casework, active participation in business development activities is expected. The ideal candidate will bring an existing portfolio of commercial clients and contacts, playing a vital role in the growth of our clients commercial team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proactive and flexible team player capable of prioritising multiple projects effectively.
- General commercial litigation experience; prior professional negligence work is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality service to clients, with a proactive and forward-planning approach.
- Excellent academic achievement.
- Initiative, pragmatism, common sense, and strong client skills.
