About the Private Wealth Team
Our clients Guildford-based Private Wealth team is highly ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers for delivering exceptional client service. We advise high-net-worth individuals (typically with personal assets between £5m–£20m) across the full spectrum of private client services, including:

Wills and estate planning

Lasting Powers of Attorney

Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning

Succession planning

Estate administration

Trust creation, administration, and termination
The Role
As a Senior Associate, you will:

Independently manage a varied caseload of Private Wealth matters
-
Build and maintain trusted client relationships
-
Support and mentor junior colleagues, including trainees and junior solicitors
-
Contribute to the team’s business development and marketing activities
-
Have the opportunity for significant career development within a high-performing, collaborative team
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in private client work. Ideal candidates will have:

7+ years of experience handling their own caseload (PQE is a guideline, not a requirement)

Expertise in private wealth matters, with strong technical knowledge
-
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
-
A collaborative and empathetic approach, particularly in sensitive client situations

A keen interest in business development and the wider growth of the team

A team-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for clients
