About the Private Wealth Team

Our clients Guildford-based Private Wealth team is highly ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers for delivering exceptional client service. We advise high-net-worth individuals (typically with personal assets between £5m–£20m) across the full spectrum of private client services, including:

  • Wills and estate planning

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney

  • Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning

  • Succession planning

  • Estate administration

  • Trust creation, administration, and termination


The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Independently manage a varied caseload of Private Wealth matters

  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships

  • Support and mentor junior colleagues, including trainees and junior solicitors

  • Contribute to the team’s business development and marketing activities

  • Have the opportunity for significant career development within a high-performing, collaborative team


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in private client work. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 7+ years of experience handling their own caseload (PQE is a guideline, not a requirement)

  • Expertise in private wealth matters, with strong technical knowledge

  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills

  • A collaborative and empathetic approach, particularly in sensitive client situations

  • A keen interest in business development and the wider growth of the team

  • A team-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for clients
