The Private Real Estate team advises private clients, trusts and family offices on all aspects of their real estate interests. Working in close collaboration with other departments—particularly Private Client, Family, and Commercial Real Estate—the team delivers cohesive, high-quality support on a wide range of matters. The London team includes partners ranked in Legal 500, Chambers HNW and Spear’s, advising across residential, leasehold enfranchisement and rural property.

Role Overview
Based in the London office, the successful candidate will manage a broad caseload of residential property matters, acting for high-net-worth individuals, their companies, family offices and trusts. Work will cover all aspects of residential property, with a particular focus on:

High-value freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals

Remortgages
Candidate Requirements

6+ years’ PQE as a residential property solicitor, with strong experience in residential sales and acquisitions, including new build and off-plan transactions

Solid understanding of leasehold enfranchisement and landlord-and-tenant matters

Strong technical ability, with excellent drafting and research skills

Proven experience managing transactions efficiently and acting for domestic and international HNW clients

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Collaborative approach with experience working alongside other professionals (tax advisors, accountants, agents, etc.)

Confidence in client-facing work and the ability to adapt to client needs

High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality legal services

Strong business development mindset and commercial awareness

Highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive, with a flexible, “can-do” attitude

Experience supervising junior team members is desirable
