Senior Associate – Family Law

About the Role

Our clients Family Law team is nationally and internationally recognised for its exceptional legal expertise and client care. They are proud to represent a diverse and high-profile client base, including professionals, entrepreneurs, landowners, public figures, and their families.

As a Senior Associate, you will join a market-leading team known for handling some of the most significant family law cases in England and Wales. You’ll work on a wide variety of matters, from complex financial disputes to high-conflict child arrangements, including cases with cross-border and jurisdictional issues.

About the Team

Our family lawyers are at the forefront of the profession. We bring extensive experience and a constructive, strategic approach to resolving family disputes. Our expertise covers:

• Divorce and civil partnership dissolution

• Disputes involving unmarried couples

• Surrogacy and alternative family structures

• International and jurisdictional family law issues

• Mediation, collaborative law, and litigation

We work closely with our Private Client team to offer comprehensive advice on tax, trusts, succession planning, and wealth management, both in the UK and internationally.

Our clients department includes:

• Multiple past chairs of Resolution, the UK’s leading family law organisation

• Fellows of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL)

• Leaders within the International Bar Association (IBA) and AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers)

What We’re Looking For

Themis Recruit are seeking an ambitious and technically strong Senior Associate with:

• Significant experience in family law, particularly in complex financial remedies and children matters
