The Role
You will advise and represent clients in matters including harassment, stalking, defamation, libel, slander, privacy and wider reputation management issues. The caseload often involves high-profile individuals and legally complex disputes, acting for both claimants and defendants.
Key responsibilities include:

Advising on harassment, stalking, defamation, reputation management and media disputes

Managing cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial

Drafting pre-publication advice, letters of claim, defences and other key documents
-
Handling urgent injunction applications and crisis-management situations
-
Liaising with clients, counsel and other stakeholders
-
Keeping abreast of developments in defamation, privacy and related areas
About You
-
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (2+ PQE preferred, though all levels considered)

Strong knowledge of harassment, defamation, libel, slander and privacy law
-
Experience in reputation management and media-related disputes
-
Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
-
Discreet and client-focused, with the ability to manage sensitive matters

Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
