Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary firm, are seeking an ambitious solicitor with a passion for regeneration projects and redevelopment schemes.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be an associate solicitor with a strong background in regeneration projects, adept at navigating planning, environmental, procurement, and public law issues. While direct experience with regeneration projects is highly desirable, we also welcome applicants with relevant experience in related areas such as property development, housing, or local authority property work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a broad range of regeneration projects.
- Address planning, environmental, procurement, and public law issues.
- Build and maintain trusted working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Providing market and business development support e.g. writing tenders and proposals, seeking out networking opportunities, attending conferences etc
Technical Skills Required:
- Excellent legal drafting skills: able to provide clear, concise and commercially relevant solutions, explaining/advising succinctly on difficult and complex areas
- Good IT and keyboard skills, at ease with electronic time recording and case management systems
- Experience of working on regeneration projects would be highly advantageous, but we’re also happy to consider applications from those with a keen interest in this area, who may have gained transferable experience from other areas, e.g. property development, housing or general local authority property work
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified solicitor with a keen interest in regeneration projects.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in property development, housing, or local authority property work is advantageous.
