Role Overview

Due to continued growth, Themis Recruit are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Litigation Solicitor to join this outstanding team. You will assist in a wide range of contentious property matters while working closely with highly experienced partners and associates in a supportive and high-performing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act on behalf of a wide variety of clients in relation to property-related disputes

  • Manage a caseload under supervision across residential and commercial sectors

  • Assist senior lawyers with complex disputes involving:

    • Lease renewals and terminations

    • Rent arrears and service charge recovery

    • Building safety and cladding claims

    • Rights of way and rights of light

    • Party wall disputes and boundary issues

    • Telecoms and Electronic Communications Code issues

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence

  • Attend client meetings, mediations, and court hearings

  • Keep up to date with developments in property law and litigation procedure


Requirements

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation

  • Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills

  • Sound knowledge of landlord and tenant law, property law, and civil procedure

  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
