Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Property and Commercial Litigation team based in the firm’s Baker Street office. This well-regarded team has earned praise for its unique blend of client care, which goes above and beyond what larger firms can offer. This is a fantastic chance for a motivated and ambitious Property and Commercial Litigator to join a growing team. The firm is looking for a candidate with 1-5 years PQE, who has a solid track record in handling a broad range of property and commercial litigation matters. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Partners redacted, gaining invaluable exposure to high-profile, complex cases and contributing to the firm’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of property and commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to:

    • Alternative Dispute Resolution

    • Art Law Disputes

    • Charity Litigation

    • Commercial Property Disputes
    • Contractual Disputes

    • Emergency Injunctions

    • Shareholder and Partnership Disputes

    • Insolvency

    • Energy & Utilities Litigation

    • Copyright, Media & IP

    • Education Litigation

    • Real Property Disputes

    • Lease Extensions and Leasehold Enfranchisement

    • Construction and Engineering

    • Corporate Occupiers

    • Residential Property Disputes

    • Planning Application Disputes

    • Banking and Finance Disputes

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development

  • Draft legal documents, including letters, correspondence, and court submissions

  • Attend court hearings and client conferences, providing clear and actionable advice

  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative, practical solutions for clients

  • Take ownership of cases while maintaining a high level of client service and communication

  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and the ability to present clear legal arguments

  • Support partners in business development and client relationship management

  • Show commitment to continuous professional development

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales, with 1-5 years PQE

  • Strong experience in property and/or commercial litigation

  • Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail

  • In-depth knowledge of civil procedure rules

  • A proactive interest in business development and supporting partners

  • Strong academic background
