Due to continued success, they are seeking an experienced Professional Support Lawyer to join their dynamic Real Estate team. Real Estate Practice
Real Estate is at the core of the firm’s legal services, with around 60% of its lawyers dedicated to the sector. The team advises across the full property lifecycle, including investment, development, regeneration, construction, asset management, finance, planning, and dispute resolution. The practice is ranked among the UK’s top 15 by The Lawyer and handles projects across office, retail, logistics, industrial, hospitality, infrastructure, life sciences, and residential/mixed-use developments.
The team works with a diverse client base, including developers, investors, lenders, occupiers, and public sector bodies.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-resourced and future-focused knowledge team supporting a leading Real Estate department. You’ll work alongside an experienced senior Professional Support Lawyer and a junior Legal Knowledge Specialist to deliver innovative knowledge and training initiatives across the national team.
This role can be based in London, Birmingham, Exeter, or Manchester.
Key Responsibilities

Know-How & Precedents: Develop and maintain precedents, practice notes, and templates focused on commercial property matters, including document automation and AI-powered tools for due diligence and reporting.

Legal Updates: Deliver timely and relevant legal, legislative, and policy updates across all real estate disciplines, with emphasis on commercial property.

Training & Development: Design and lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance legal and commercial knowledge across the team.

Collaboration: Work closely with PSLs across departments and the Knowledge & Information Management team to ensure consistent delivery of firm-wide initiatives.

Risk & Compliance: Support the General Counsel & Risk team in implementing best practice risk management policies and procedures.

Innovation: Collaborate with Business Transformation and Innovation teams to enhance internal systems, workflow automation, and adoption of generative AI tools.

Content & Insight: Assist with drafting client alerts, articles, and supporting bids and business development initiatives.

External Engagement: Maintain relationships with key external stakeholders (e.g., HM Land Registry, search providers) and represent the firm at relevant industry forums.
Requirements

5+ years’ PQE (Post Qualification Experience), preferably with strong technical expertise in commercial property law, including landlord & tenant, asset management, investment, finance, and development.

Practical experience with workflow automation and AI tools, and the ability to strategically apply them to improve legal service delivery.

Prior PSL experience is beneficial but not essential—applications are welcome from lawyers looking to transition into a knowledge-focused role.

Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise effectively.

Proactive, strategic thinker with a collaborative approach to working across departments and mentoring junior team members.

Recent fee-earning experience in commercial real estate (preferred).

Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
