About the Role
Themis Recruit are looking for an experienced and personable Private Client Solicitor to join our clients well-established and busy team in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive firm that prides itself on professionalism, approachability, and efficiency.
You’ll manage a varied caseload of private client matters, advising individuals and families on all aspects of wills, trusts, estates, and tax planning. This role offers excellent career development potential and the chance to make a real impact with clients across Kent and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on estate and care fees planning, wills, and inheritance tax planning.

Preparing and administering trusts, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.

Handling Court of Protection matters and deputyship applications.

Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision, supported by an experienced secretary.

Building strong client relationships through clear communication and excellent service.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Is a qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private client law.

Has strong technical knowledge in wills, trusts, estates, and tax issues.

Can manage their own files efficiently, prioritising work and meeting deadlines.

Demonstrates a professional and empathetic client manner.
-
Has (or is working toward) STEP membership – desirable but not essential.
