Our client, a well-established firm recognised for its excellence by both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, are seeking an experienced solicitor to join their highly regarded Private Client team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising clients on various lifetime matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax, and family asset succession and protection.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven expertise in advising clients on lifetime issues, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, inheritance tax, and family asset planning.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with business structures such as partnerships, LLPs, and companies.
  • Court of Protection experience.
  • Knowledge of trusts and trust administration, including compliance matters.
  • Broader tax knowledge.
  • Probate administration experience.
  • STEP and CTA qualifications, or part-qualified.

Requirements:

  • Manage your own caseload efficiently.
  • Oversee your financial housekeeping.
  • Conduct client meetings both in person and remotely.
  • Assess legal issues and provide accurate advice, including conducting legal research and advising on costs and scope of work.
  • Draft legal documents and letters of advice.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate effectively within the team.
