The solicitor will play a vital role in conducting thorough legal research, developing strong case strategies, and advocating for clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
Requirements
- Experience with Proclaim or a similar case management system
- Manage a caseload of industrial disease claims, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to build strong cases.
- Interview clients to gather necessary information and assess the validity of claims.
- Collaborate with medical professionals, expert witnesses, and other specialists to support the development of cases.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including court pleadings, settlement agreements, and other relevant paperwork.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and represent them in court if necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends related to industrial disease and personal injury claims.
