We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Personal Injury Solicitor to join our firm’s El/PL team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice, representation, and support to clients. Our Personal Injury division focuses on cases involving Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims, representing individuals who have suffered injuries due to accidents in the workplace or public spaces. The role involves handling a diverse range of cases and requires a deep understanding of personal injury law, strong communication skills, and a client-focused approach.
Requirements
- Candidates should have experience with Proclaim or a similar case management system and a good billing record.
- Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, predominantly in the areas of Employer’s Liability and Public Liability.
- Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to build strong arguments for clients’ claims.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and legal options clearly and concisely.
- Initiate and maintain effective communication with clients, opposing solicitors, insurance companies, and relevant third parties.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, settlement agreements, and court submissions.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, advocating for their best interests.
- Collaborate closely with the legal team to share insights, strategies, and updates on cases.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments, case law, and procedural changes affecting personal injury law and EL/PL claims.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards in line with legal regulations and firm policies.
