Job Description:

Themis Recruit are excited to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join our clients growing team at their new office in Plymouth, in the heart of the South West. This is an exciting chance to work alongside a talented team handling some of the most high-profile personal injury cases in the UK.

As a Personal Injury Solicitor, you will be an integral part of our Serious Injury Team, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing caseloads of new and existing personal injury claims, including litigated matters.
  • Travelling to meet clients and potential witnesses face-to-face to gather evidence and discuss claims.
  • Attending Court hearings and Inquests, representing clients as required.
  • Liaising with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals to ensure the progression of each claim.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, including briefs, instructions, and schedules.
  • Valuing claims and engaging in settlement negotiations to reach the best outcomes for clients.

We are looking for a solicitor who is confident in their own abilities, highly organised, able to manage their time effectively, and has a keen eye for detail.


About You:

  • Experienced with Personal Injury law.
  • You should be confident in managing your own caseload and be able to handle both litigated and non-litigated cases.
  • Excellent organisational skills are essential, with the ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, barristers, and medical experts, will be key to your success in this role.
