The Role

Working alongside leading specialists in the field, you’ll manage your own caseload of complex clinical negligence matters while assisting on some of the firm’s most significant and high-profile claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of high-value and complex clinical negligence claims.
• Advising clients and their families throughout the litigation process with empathy and professionalism.
• Investigating liability and quantum, reviewing medical records and evidence.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and schedules of loss.
• Instructing leading medical experts and Counsel.
• Managing disclosure, court documentation and trial preparation.
• Representing clients at procedural hearings and settlement meetings where appropriate.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

About You

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor with a proven background in claimant clinical negligence litigation.

You’ll also demonstrate:

• Experience handling complex, high-value medical negligence claims.
• Strong technical knowledge of clinical negligence litigation.
• Excellent client care skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with vulnerable clients and their families.
• Outstanding communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
• A collaborative mindset with experience supporting and mentoring junior team members.
