An established, City-based law firm with a national footprint is seeking an experienced Housing Management & Property Litigation lawyer to join its highly regarded London team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a Tier 1 ranked housing practice, widely recognised by both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK for its expertise in the social housing sector.
The Opportunity
You will join a thriving Housing Management & Property Litigation team acting for over 100 Registered Providers, local authorities and private landlords across England and Wales. The practice sits at the heart of the firm’s offering and continues to grow in both size and profile.
The role offers exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload, including:

Injunction proceedings

Possession claims
-
Disrepair matters
-
Anti-social behaviour cases
-
Non-contentious housing management advice and policy work
You will manage your own files while also supporting partners on larger and more complex matters. The position offers genuine scope for progression within a supportive and commercially focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of a substantial and varied caseload
-
Direct client contact, including expectation management and strategic advice

Supporting partners on complex litigation
-
Supervision of junior lawyers and paralegals
-
Delivering client training and contributing to thought leadership
-
Active participation in marketing and business development initiatives
About You
-
5+ years’ PQE minimum in housing management and property litigation

Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx (CILEx candidates must hold Civil Litigation Practice Rights)

Strong technical expertise and confident file management

Experience supervising junior team members
-
Commercially astute with a proactive approach to client service

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
