Our client, a dynamic law firmed situated in the heart of Mayfair are seeking an experienced paralegal to join their growing team. The hiring firm are commited to providing the highest level of legal services. Our client pride themselves on offering genuine opportunities for progression, and the right candidate will be considered for a training contract/financial support to complete the SQE.
The successful candidate will assist with the running of a busy housing-law practice.
Duties will include:
1) taking initial instructions from clients
2) entering data onto our claims-management system
3) preparing draft letters of claim and enforcement proceedings
4) reviewing pre-action disclosure
5) updating clients
6) instructing experts
7) corresponding with the other side
8) being able to work efficiently to meet KPIs
9) ability to manage your own caseload
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and time-management skills are required.
- Experience of running disrepair claims and/or defending such claims would be advantageous.
- The position is available immedietely and the salary is negotiable.
- There may be some flexibility to work from home a day a week, following a probationary period.
