About the Role
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from start to finish, working closely with clients to secure strong outcomes and deliver exceptional service. The firm is ideally looking for someone with around 3+ years’ PQE or CILEX, but they’re also open to those who are qualified by experience. What really matters is tenacity, technical ability, and a proactive approach.

The role includes a full mix of pre- and post-issue work: drafting key documents, negotiating settlements, running litigated files, attending hearings where necessary, and supporting vulnerable clients. There’s also the opportunity to supervise a small sub-team.

One standout element is the firm’s uncapped commission structure—you receive a percentage of every successful case, with no thresholds or hurdles, ensuring you’re genuinely rewarded for your results.

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in housing disrepair or civil litigation

  • Confident handling a high-volume caseload

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills

  • A client-focused approach with clear communication

  • Solid understanding of CPR and litigation processes

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Experience using case management systems (Proclaim is a bonus)

Salary & Hours

  • Base salary up to £55,000, dependent on experience

  • Generous monthly commission payments (uncapped)

  • Hours: 8:30–5:30 (Mon–Thu), 8:30–5:00 (Fri)
