Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor

McKie Recruit are pleased to share this fantastic opportunity in a top 100 law firm. The firm is a market leader in both the Personal Injury Sector and Clinical Negligence. Our client are currently in an exciting period of growth and thus wish to recruit  a financial mis-selling Solicitor to join a friendly well-established team, ideally with at least 1 to 5 years PQE. The hiring firms pride themselves on facilitating both personal and professional development for their team, and are ideally looking for an individual that aspires to work towards Associate status in the future. 

The successful candidate should have previous exposure to managing a variety of litigated financial mis-selling claims and also experience supervising trainee solicitors.

Requirements

• Manage a caseload of litigated financial mis-selling claims.
  
• Conduct thorough case assessments, reviewing documentation and identifying legal strategies.
  
• Prepare legal documents, including court pleadings, letters, and settlement agreements.
  
• Supervision and mentorship of a trainee solicitor 
  
• Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to strengthen case strategies.
  
• Stay up-to-date with financial mis-selling legislation, regulations, and industry trends.
  
• Supporting  the development of the existing department
