Join a well-established and supportive law firm committed to delivering high-quality, specialist legal services in all areas of Family Law. Our client is currently recruiting for two positions: one at their Head Office in Gillingham and another at our Folkestone office.
Themis Recruit are looking for an experienced Family Solicitor with a strong background in all aspects of Family Law. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dedicated team working with private clients on sensitive and impactful matters.
About the Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of family law cases, including:

Divorce and Ancillary Relief

Private Law Children Act matters
-
Domestic Abuse cases
-
Care Proceedings
-
Adoption and Special Guardianship applications
You’ll be expected to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, undertake advocacy, and provide clear, empathetic legal advice in often emotionally challenging circumstances.
About You

Qualified Family Solicitor or CiLex Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE (or equivalent)

Proven experience across the full spectrum of family law

Able to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and maintain a varied caseload

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A detail-oriented, organised, and proactive approach

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Skilled in advocacy and capable of handling sensitive client situations with professionalism
