Family Lawyer (1–3 PQE) – West London | Clear Route to Children Panel Accreditation
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Family Lawyer to join a progressive, multi-office practice in West London. This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor or Legal Executive in the early stages of their career who is looking to accelerate their development—particularly those with a clear ambition to achieve Children Panel accreditation.
You’ll join a well-supported and growing family team, gaining exposure to a broad and high-quality caseload while benefiting from structured mentoring, advocacy opportunities, and a genuinely defined progression pathway.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload across both publicly and privately funded work, including:
- Care proceedings and public law children matters
- Private law children disputes
- Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
- Divorce and financial remedy work
- Cohabitation and general family matters
There is a strong emphasis on developing your advocacy skills, with the opportunity to handle your own hearings where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in family law
- Experience or strong interest in public law children work
- Confident communicator with a willingness to undertake advocacy
- Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business development
- Understanding of legal aid frameworks
- A genuine desire to progress toward Children Panel membership
