Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and ambitious Family Solicitor to join our clients esteemed team at our Bromley office. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong communication and client care skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family matters, both litigated and non-litigated, while delivering exceptional legal services and meeting or exceeding company standards and client expectations. The role has a particular focus on family finance work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family cases, including both litigated and non-litigated matters, with a focus on family finance work.
  • Provide clients with effective and professional legal advice, maintaining high standards of communication and client care.
  • Handle finance matters such as financial remedy and TOLATA, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in these areas.
  • Employ proactive case management and creative problem-solving techniques to ensure the best interests of clients are served.
  • Exercise professional judgment in seeking guidance or researching solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Meet or exceed individual billing and time recording targets, maintaining financial control of own ledgers.
  • Participate in marketing and networking activities to contribute to the growth of the family department and promote the firm’s services.
  • Engage with local groups and societies, as well as independent networking and business development activities, to further enhance the firm’s reputation and client base.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years PQE in providing expert family advice and litigation, with a focus on family finance work.
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish strong, and productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Independent work ethic with the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Membership of Resolution is desirable.
