Job Description:

We seek an experienced Solicitor to join our dynamic Employment department, primarily focusing on employer-related matters. This full-time role encompasses all facets of Employment Law, requiring adept management of client interactions, caseloads, and support to the Head of Department on complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive advice and guidance to clients on employment law and HR-related matters, including but not limited to contracts, policies, discipline, redundancy, diversity, and settlement agreements.
  • Drafting and revising various documentation, such as advice notes, letters, and scripts for client meetings and consultations.
  • Offering corporate support on employment issues arising from transactional activities, including due diligence reporting and negotiation of employment-related warranties and indemnities.
  • Handling the defense of claims brought before the Employment Tribunal, encompassing case analysis, documentation preparation, representation, and negotiation of settlements.
  • Contributing to firm publications, client seminars, and business development initiatives to enhance the firm’s visibility and client engagement.
  • Participating in meetings with prospective clients to present our fixed-price employment solutions.
