One of our clients a nationwide law firm is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Early Talent Manager to join their organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and developing exceptional early-career talent to contribute to the growth and success of the firm. The Early Talent Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic talent acquisition initiatives, fostering a positive candidate experience, and ensuring the effective onboarding and development of early talent within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive early talent acquisition strategy to attract high-potential candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand workforce needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
- Utilize various channels, including campus recruitment, job fairs, and online platforms, to source and engage with top-tier early talent.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating the organization’s values, culture, and career opportunities to potential candidates.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates, serving as a point of contact and information resource.
- Onboarding and Development:
- Design and implement onboarding programs that facilitate a smooth transition for early talent into the organization.
- Collaborate with HR and department leaders to create personalized development plans for early talent, promoting professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Monitor and assess the progress of early talent, providing feedback and support to ensure their success within the organization.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to establish a pipeline of potential early talent.
- Foster partnerships with student organizations, career services, and other relevant groups to enhance the organization’s visibility on campuses.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyse key metrics related to early talent acquisition and development.
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, particularly in early talent or legal recruitment.
- Strong understanding of the latest trends and best practices in talent management and development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other relevant HR software.
