About the Team
Our Dispute Resolution team handles a wide variety of property and commercial litigation. Based primarily in our London office, the department includes a Member Partner, two Solicitors, and a Paralegal.

The team works closely with our family finance and conveyancing departments, supporting clients such as landlords and leaseholders on a range of property issues.

The Opportunity: Commercial/Property Litigation Solicitor
We are seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to 1 Year PQE with solid experience in property litigation. You must be confident working with privately paying clients, including individuals and SMEs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and expanding department, take ownership of a varied caseload, and contribute to business development.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of property and commercial litigation matters

Maintain high standards of client care and communication

Provide strategic legal advice and conduct negotiations

Undertake advocacy where appropriate (County Court/Tribunals)

Maintain accurate time recording, billing, and file management
-
Collaborate with colleagues across departments for a seamless client experience

Participate in internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Support departmental administration and process improvements

Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts
Person Specification
Essential:
-
NQ–1 year PQE in dispute resolution
-
Solid experience in both property and commercial litigation
-
Familiarity with leasehold disputes, service charges, possession proceedings, and contractual claims
-
Experience advising private clients and SMEs
-
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and client-facing)
-
Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
-
IT proficiency and confidence using case management systems
-
A current Practising Certificate
Desirable:

Advocacy experience at County Court or Tribunal level
-
Understanding of alternative funding models (e.g. CFAs, DBAs)

Previous involvement in marketing or networking initiatives
