Themis Recruit are seeking a talented Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Legal Executive (0–5 years+ PQE) to join our Leeds office. The role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, with a particular focus on property litigation and professional negligence matters, covering both pre-litigation and litigated cases.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified solicitor or legal executive.

  • 0–5 years PQE, with a genuine interest (and ideally experience) in litigation, professional negligence, and/or property litigation.

  • Motivated, proactive, and professional, with strong initiative.

  • Confident in client engagement — taking instructions, offering clear advice, and building strong relationships.

  • Capable of handling cases from start to finish with appropriate supervision.

  • Experienced in time recording and billing with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Knowledgeable about the professional conduct rules governing solicitors and legal executives.

  • Willing to assist senior team members when needed.

  • Organised and able to manage a busy, varied caseload effectively.

  • An excellent communicator — both with clients and colleagues.

  • A team player who can also work independently.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client care and achieving results.
