Mckie Recruit are currently seeking a solicitor with between NQ and 5 years PQE to join our Client’s Disease Litigation Team, primarily located in their Liverpool office. However, we welcome applications from candidates residing in other regions as well.
The team specializes in a comprehensive spectrum of industrial disease cases, primarily representing prominent insurance clients.
In this role, you will initially be responsible for managing a modest caseload of litigated claims related to noise-induced hearing loss. Additionally, you will provide support to Partners and Principal Associates in handling complex cases, with a specific focus on asbestos-related claims. This opportunity allows you to become part of a well-established and experienced team that deals with a diverse range of legal matters, collaborating with professionals at all levels of expertise.
Requirements
- A qualified Solicitor NQ to 5YRS PQE
- Litigation experience
- Extensive litigation experience with proven technical ability and record of achievement
- Ability to work to deadlines / targets, to prioritise and manage a caseload and deliver effective solutions
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative with a positive attitude
- A commercial, solution-driven and client-focused approach
- Strong legal and analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
