Our client, a top 150 law firm, are seeking experienced Criminal Solicitors with expertise in police station and magistrates court work. We are particularly keen on individuals that are duty qualified.

It is vital that you demonstrate high levels of professionalism in this role and have experience and confidence running your own caseload. More key responsibilities can be found below.
- Conducting interviews with clients to take instructions on criminal allegations
- Conducting legal research and advising on points of law and practice
- Attending the Police Station to provide advice and assistance
- Attending to represent clients in the Magistrates Court
- Conducting Crown Court litigation and instructing Counsel
- Drafting letters and legal documents
- Working in accordance with the Office Manual
- Administrative duties
- Handle a diverse caseload of criminal matters with precision and diligence.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Requirements:
- Holding Duty Solicitor Status is highly desirable.
- Hold Police Station Accreditation Status
- Have good attention to detail in reviewing and preparing documentation
- Strong advocacy and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative legal team.
- Have excellent IT skills
- Have excellent time management skills
- Understand the importance of and provide first class client care
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
