Our client, one of the North Wests leading legal practices, are seeking an experienced Credit Hire Fee Earner in their Liverpool and Greater Manchester offices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work do, the service they provide, and getting the best possible results for their clients.

 

As a Credit Hire Fee Earner, you will play a pivotal role in managing and progressing Credit Hire claims on behalf of our clients. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of credit hire files, liaising with clients, insurers, and third-party representatives, and ensuring a smooth and efficient claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of litigated fast track and multi track credit hire claims from inception to settlement.
  • There will be a mixture of liability admitted and disputed claims.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into credit hire claims, including reviewing documentation, assessing liability, and calculating potential damages.
  • Negotiate with third-party insurers and credit hire organisations to achieve favorable settlements for our clients.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their credit hire claims.
  • Draft legal correspondence, court documents, and settlement agreements.
  • Liaise with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals as necessary to support the claims process.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law related to credit hire claims.

Requirements:

  • Previous Credit Hire experience is essential
  • Solid understanding of credit hire/ P.I claims and relevant legal principles. Including Costs.
  • Familiarity with RTA protocols and claims processes.
  • Proclaim expertise advantageous.
  • Experience and Understanding of key KPIs- settlements, billing, case duration etc.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure.
