Responsibilities
- Fully accountable for all CPR costs compliant court documents for assigned cases
- Deal with all aspects of costs budgeting including budget discussion reports, composite summaries and Precedent T
- Deal with all aspects of the costs assessment process such as drafting PoD and replies
- Complete all post-assessment work
- Provide cost advice to clients orally and in writing for routine cases and those of above average complexity
- Conduct cost negotiations for routine cases and those of above average complexity
- Undertake regular review of files
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as required
- Use Proclaim to document all client interactions
- Comply with all County Costs processes and procedures
- Meet agreed performance targets
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably required by senior management.

- Numerate
- Analytical
- Excellent communicator
- Client management: fully capable of handling the range of client management scenarios arising from routine cases
- Demonstrable potential to handle more complex client cases in relation to advice, costs negotiations and client management
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, Proclaim, CostMaster and related applications
- Detailed working knowledge of the CPR costs rules.
