Our client, one of the countries leading law firms, are seeking an experienced Corporate M&A Associate looking work on high quality files alongside industry experts on a daily basis.
About the Role:
- Engage in high-quality corporate M&A and private equity transactions.
- Achieve personal goals aligned with firm objectives and contribute to junior colleagues’ development.
- Understand client needs, lead CRM efforts, and actively network for business growth.
The Team:
- Market-leading corporate lawyers shaping the commercial landscape.
- One of the largest Corporate M&A teams outside London.
- Involved in complex public/private mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in corporate M&A and PE transactions.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective management of a complex workload.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Experience leading others to develop their skills.
- SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer.

- Business Development:
- 1. Contribute to developing new client relationships and achieving profitable revenue growth.
- 2. Understand departmental BD strategy, participate in events, and build a personal business plan.
- 3. Network with clients, professionals, and contribute to the firm’s brand through social media.
- Client Relationships:
- 1. Protect and enhance existing client relationships, understand client businesses, and deliver high-quality services.
- 2. Actively participate in department initiatives, address client queries, and cross-refer work.
- Developing Others:
- 1. Improve technical and commercial skills of junior lawyers, provide constructive feedback.
- 2. Contribute to team development, share knowledge, and actively engage in training activities.
