Themis Recruit is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer around the Greater Merseyside area. The role will consist of dealing with a caseload in the region of 30 cases of the sales and purchase of Residential Property from initiation to completion. The role will also include handling a caseload of both Leasehold and Freehold Property, New build and Re-mortgages. The ideal candidate will have 2 years PQE, however previous experience will be considered.
  • Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, ensuring transactions progress smoothly from inception to completion.
  • Conduct thorough title checks, property searches, and due diligence to identify potential issues and mitigate risks.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and transfer deeds, with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address queries, and ensure a positive client experience.
  • Handle post-completion tasks, including registrations and stamp duty submissions, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay informed about changes in property law, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous professional development.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, contribute to process improvements, and foster a collaborative work environment.

 

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a caseload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and legal software.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
