The Opportunity
Themis Recruit are seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our clients market-leading Construction Professional Indemnity team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of professional liability law, advising major clients in the construction industry.

Our specialist team has deep expertise in acting for construction professionals and their insurers across all sectors. We deliver fast, strategic solutions to complex professional indemnity claims and risk issues, with a focus on collaboration, excellence, and client service.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will handle a broad range of contentious construction and professional indemnity matters, including:

Advising and defending design & build contractors, engineers, architects, surveyors, project managers, and other consultants.

Managing claims related to design errors, omissions, construction defects, and related financial disputes.

Working closely with insurers on liability and risk management.

Resolving disputes through litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.

Providing strategic advice on coverage and contractual responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (must hold a current practising certificate).

Ideally 2–5 years PQE with relevant experience in construction and professional indemnity at a recognised firm. (PQE is a guide; we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.)

Strong knowledge of construction-related claims and insurance law.

Excellent legal analysis, drafting, and advocacy skills.

Proven experience in managing cases efficiently and effectively.

A commitment to continuous professional development in line with SRA requirements.
