About You

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 3+ years PQE who is:

• Positive, professional and commercially minded.

• A confident and capable litigator with experience managing matters independently.

• Keen to contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the department.

About the Team

The Commercial Litigation team provides advice and representation across a broad range of contentious matters, including:

• Contentious probate.
• Debt claims and recovery.
• Contractual disputes.
• Landlord and tenant disputes.
• Property-related disputes.
• Civil and commercial litigation.

The team works closely with other specialist departments across the firm where appropriate, creating a genuinely collaborative and supportive working environment.

A partner-led approach is adopted across matters, with a flexible team structure designed to ensure work is allocated at the appropriate level while providing junior and developing lawyers with excellent opportunities for support, supervision and progression.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality legal service to clients across a varied commercial litigation caseload.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Taking detailed instructions from clients and assessing their legal requirements.
• Advising clients on strategy, options and the progress of their matters.
• Managing a caseload effectively and progressing matters in a timely manner.
• Drafting and reviewing relevant legal and case documentation.
• Responding promptly and efficiently to client queries, whether face-to-face, by telephone or in writing.
• Maintaining accurate and well-organised client and matter files.
• Ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and the firm’s quality standards.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and other departments where required.
• Supporting the continued growth of the department through business development and networking activities.
