The Role:

To further bolster their high-performing team, our client are now seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to collaborate with partners and senior team members. This individual will handle a diverse range of dispute resolution and commercial litigation matters, including:

  • Commercial and contractual disputes
  • Company/Shareholder disputes
  • Professional negligence matters
  • IP and IT disputes
  • Commercial Agents claims
  • Insolvency litigation
  • Banking claims
  • Supervising Search Orders
  • Injunctive Relief
  • Franchise disputes
  • Defamation and reputation management

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background and litigation training, aiming to advance their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. Candidates should have extensive litigation experience, with the ability to assist senior litigators and manage smaller files under supervision.

Ideally, candidates will have experience in a national or leading regional firm and be accustomed to dealing with an SME/OMB client base.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to respond to urgent client requirements while maintaining a proper work/life balance. Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and other departments are essential. The role also offers opportunities for involvement in practice development for both the department and other legal services within the firm.
