The Role
You will:

Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.

Provide clear, pragmatic and compassionate advice to clients navigating complex medical negligence claims.

Draft and review key legal documentation including pleadings, witness statements and expert evidence.

Build strong, trusted client relationships with a focus on exceptional service delivery.

Contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of the clinical negligence offering.

Collaborate closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge and maintaining high technical standards.
About You
You will be:

A qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence (candidates with strong transferable skills or a demonstrable interest in this area will also be considered).

Commercially aware, with the confidence to contribute to departmental strategy and development.

Client-focused, empathetic and highly professional in your approach.

Technically strong with excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities.

A collaborative team player who thrives in a progressive and supportive environment.

Familiarity with case management systems is advantageous but not essential.
