The Role

You will:

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.

  • Provide clear, pragmatic and compassionate advice to clients navigating complex medical negligence claims.

  • Draft and review key legal documentation including pleadings, witness statements and expert evidence.

  • Build strong, trusted client relationships with a focus on exceptional service delivery.

  • Contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of the clinical negligence offering.

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge and maintaining high technical standards.


About You

You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence (candidates with strong transferable skills or a demonstrable interest in this area will also be considered).

  • Commercially aware, with the confidence to contribute to departmental strategy and development.

  • Client-focused, empathetic and highly professional in your approach.

  • Technically strong with excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing competing priorities.

  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a progressive and supportive environment.

  • Familiarity with case management systems is advantageous but not essential.
