About the Role
Themis Recruit are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our clients dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a small, supportive team, reporting directly to a Partner and taking on some supervisory responsibilities for a SQE trainee and a paralegal.
You’ll manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters — ranging from moderate to high-value cases — while also assisting the Partner on complex files. This is a pure Clinical Negligence role with no personal injury split, ideal for someone looking to deepen their specialism in this area.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction to settlement.

Assist the Partner with high-value cases.

Supervise and support junior team members (SQE trainee and paralegal).

Attend client meetings, conferences, and external events as required.

Contribute to business development and uphold their client-focused ethos.
About You

Qualified Solicitor with minimum 2+ years’ PQE in clinical negligence.

Proven experience handling your own caseload, including complex and high-value cases.

Confident supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.

Strong client care and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.

Willing to travel occasionally to meet clients and attend events.
