Children Panel Accredited Solicitor

Themis Recruit is currently working with a highly regarded, award-winning law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Children Panel Accredited Solicitor to join its established Family team in London.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a solicitor who is passionate about representing children, parents and other family members in challenging and rewarding care proceedings, while working alongside recognised specialists in the field.

The Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of both public and private children matters, including legally aided and privately funded work, with the opportunity to undertake your own advocacy and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.

This position would suit someone who enjoys high-quality work, values autonomy and wants to be part of a genuinely collaborative team.

What You’ll Need

• Law Society Children Panel Accreditation (essential)
• Around 3+ years’ PQE in Children Law
• Strong experience handling public law children matters
• Advocacy experience across a range of hearings
• Working knowledge of Legal Aid and CCMS
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• A proactive approach to business development and networking
