I’m working with a well-established, ambitious Legal Aid firm that is continuing to invest heavily in its Care team. They have a strong reputation for representing vulnerable clients and are now looking to bring in a Care Solicitor who wants to develop their advocacy, autonomy, and long-term progression.

The role
You’ll manage your own caseload of Care matters, with a focus on parent representation, including:

• Conducting advocacy in care proceedings
• Drafting statements, case notes, and client correspondence
• Managing Legal Aid applications via CCMS
• Ensuring compliance with LAA requirements and internal quality standards
• Delivering a high standard of client care throughout

What they’re looking for

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
• Solid experience in Care work, particularly parent cases
• Confident advocate with strong case management skills
• Good working knowledge of Legal Aid processes and CCMS
• Comfortable working towards fee earner targets
