What Makes Us Different?
Legal Recruitment of the best staff is difficult, expensive and competitive – we aim to change that. Agency fees are a huge overhead for a law firm of any size.
We have found using some of the more established agencies difficult for the following reasons:-
- Expensive fees (20-25% is not uncommon) used to pay for expensive city centre offices.
- Inflexible Terms- few rebate options if a candidate leaves within 3 months.
- Phone calls or emails not returned, each candidate is assigned their personal Employment Mentor.
- Candidates CVs sent whom lack the skills and experience for the role.
- No experience of the agency in the area of expertise resulting in candidates with no experience being passed over for interview.
What do we offer?
We have created an agency from the perspective of the law firm and looking at what they really want (based upon our own experience as law firm owners):-
- We only charge 17% + VAT fees guaranteed.
- Flexible payment terms – 50% due the day candidate walks through the door, 50% after 3 months. We are very confident that our candidates will hit the ground running at your firm!
- We keep in touch throughout the recruitment process.
- We personally vet all candidates we send over via CV or interview. We would not recommend a candidate that we would not consider for interview at our own firm.
Where do you source candidates from and what candidates can we recruit?
We specialise solely in legal recruitment, utilising our partners combined years of experience working and employing in the legal sector. Our area of expertise is in private practice- both Claimant and Defendant firms.
As a legal business the best candidates come from word of mouth. We have an extensive network across the United Kingdom, which grows larger by the day.
What do we need from you?
Please supply as much information about the role as possible but the basics are:-
- Practice Area?
- Level of Fee Earner Required i.e qualified/ unqualified or PQE level or accept both?
- Full time/ part time/ job share?
- What are the hours? Does the role offer Flexi time?
- Is the position office based/hybrid/WFH?
- Which office is the role based at?
- Is the position supervisory/ fee earning or both?
- What are the core duties?
- What type of candidate are you looking for?
- What benefits does the firm offer? i.e holidays/ work from home/ parking etc
- What is the salary range?
- And most importantly- why are you a great place to work?
These are not fixed questions – just some ideas to help us find good candidates!

Locum or Temporary Roles
We realise that from time to time our clients require temporary vacancies across our core sectors. This might be a Solicitor or Paralegal support.
We can offer a range of services to support temporary projects, large cases or holiday / maternity cover. We vet all our temporary candidates to the same standards as our permanent placements.
Best of all we offer the same 17% fees as our standard terms, which we believe is the most competitive in the industry.

Looking to Buy or Sell a Firm/Caseload?
Selling a law firm or caseload requires specialist knowledge of the legal industry to value the work in progress to get maximum value from the sale, buyer contacts and knowledge about the areas of law concerned. We have years of experience in the personal injury, clinical negligence, housing and civil litigation market places.
We act for sellers looking to sell caseloads or law firms in these spaces.
Some agents charge an up front fee to simply look at the sale (sometimes upto £5,000). We do not charge an up front fee to the seller and instead charge the buyer if we are able to complete the arrangement. We offer no sale/ no fee.
The Procedure.
- The parties are asked to sign none disclosure agreement.
- We put together a sales pack and we approach the market/ our contacts in the buying market.
- The buyer is provided with information about the practice for sale/ caseload valuation.
- The parties meet or speak about plans and proposals.
- A deal is concluded. The buyer pays us an introduction fee. The seller pays no fee.
